James was in too much of a hurry to chat this morning. He sped by in the opposite direction down in The Carrs, indicating to his watch that he was on to something. "Reps" he grunted. And he was gone. I carried on casually, down to The Mill. It was quiet. No good mornings from anyone today. It was raining too. Chest still tight, there was little effort from me. Back past the pool, and there was the heron, stood there, thinking I'd not seen it. I could tell he was going to fly, but this time I was ready. It's not been a great day.
