A tough run tonight. I elected to join 'James-10 weeks to London' for his mid week 'easy' run. I'd proposed my new 'favourite' 9 mile up the bypass. He needed more. 11. Pete joined also. And for some reason I chose to run 'up' the bypass and into the wind, and back down the old road, knowing this was the harder option. The wind was a fierce, unsympathetic icy blast. It was tough, not easy. I think Pete agreed, though like me was happy to listen to James review his stats, stories, routes and times over the past few days and constant checking and rechecking his watch, dragging us on.
