They say if all the planes in the world had to land, there'd be not enough space on the ground to accommodate them all. It's the same with our car park at work...in relative terms. It depends on people being out and about to accommodate those who are in. On the rare occasion you gather all your troops together, there's nowhere to put them. My abstinence with regard to running around these past few days has revealed a similar scenario with my apparel, meaning shorts, socks and T's.
The wash cycle, not the actual programme, but the cycle that is clean storage, in use, dirty storage and finally in the machine and on the line...has come full circle and caught up with itself. My draws are full...overly so. To take the punch line from Ollie's 'what's the difference between Marmalade and Jam?' joke, I'm having to jam it in! Clothes draw tidiness isn't my strength. And it does seem I'm a bit of a hoarder. There's old race shirts in there from way back. Sentimental, or too lazy to chuck out?!
It's clear I'm a bit 'chesty' at the moment. Nothing loose or green, just a bit like breathing through cotton wool. Early awake this morning and determined to be out. I shook a leg, as self advised. Not much of a run, but a great morning. Interesting clouds and heavy mist in the dips. The heron pond looks like my pea soup...thick enough to stand your spoon up in. The greeniness of it is quite something. A good excuse to stop and walk for a bit. Then walk a bit more.
