It's a late night to catch the 'almost' sunset in Reykjavik this time of year. Or a slightly later night to catch the sunrise. Barely three hours separates them. So even when you're up and Running Around at 6.00am, the sun is already up and bright, assuming the skies are clear. They were. A stunning blue. Still needed my gloves yesterday morning as I ran through the town, though.
An evening out at the Blue Lagoon. Dinner and stuff with colleagues from all over the globe, I'm a lone UK participant. A quiet moments reflection outside and away from the crowds, gazing at the dipping sun across a landscape reminiscent of how you imagine the moon might look. Every shade of pale green to grey you can imagine. Doesn't sound spectacular, but it truly is.
More green, Hollins Green 5K tomorrow.
