The last two weeks have been a bit of a blur, but they're behind me now. Today I stepped out for the first time, nervous, unsure of how I'd react. Once again, feeling like an absolute beginner, off to meet James. The first few steps are nothing short of magical. My legs felt like springs, remembering what to do, the act of running, no aches or pains...I can't remember feeling this free in ages. Like a scene from cocoon, or a horse let out to paddock, I bounded down the road, with a cheesy smile on my face. It was steady though, just a warm through, loosening my chest without over doing it. James was on good form and I had enough breath to chat. It's all good, and I'm happy...in many ways.
